Not a“fast food joint”… Awe'll Managed, professionally serviced staffed restaurant. One ofthe best waterfront locations inOttawa County, it's worth the wait totake inthe view, enjoy your drinks and catch upwith company, while you receive you're well prepared meal.

The building isvery small and there's reduced docking. Wearrived bywater and met with animosity. After trying tosit alarge group outside with animpending storm, the owner asked usto leave.
He believed wehad been rude, maybe during our docking experience. Wewere loud aswe were discussing amongst ourselves how wecould dock ina very small spot ina very large boat. Wedid not believe wewere rude inany manner and wedid apologize. I'm not sure how the food isbecause weplaced our order for drinks and then they asked usto leave. The waitress was very confused when one ofour people was asking for aspecific tequila and araspberry liqueur which they did not have. I'm not sure ifthis iswhat they interpreted asbeing rude. Wewere all quite confused. They made usleave during athunderstorm aswe weren't allowed tostay ontheir dock.… – show00

Staff very rude, was docking myboat staff came out not tohelp usdock, but they Yelled atus that wecould not dock unless weorder food Well that’s why wewent there toeat and get out ofa server Thunder storm. They sat usoutside knowing there was aserver Thunderstorm coming, then after itstarted raining and high winds they made upan excuse and told usto leave inthe storm. Beware ifyou are aboater stayway.

Tonight stood outside for 15minutes couldn’t get served ora table. Thursday night, and not busy. One person infront ofus seated fast. Many tables open. Poor service from the start. Nocommunication tous waiting.

Me and afriend were traveling upto the lake toget agood view of the lake atsundown. Wesaw that this place was still open sowe said whynot. Went upto beseated and were seated right onthe lake front almost immediately. Great view and wewere there atthe perfect time aswe got tosee the sun godown asweate. The tuna steak was cooked toperfection, and myfriends Alfredo was the best hehad ever had inhis own words. Waitress was super friendly and she complemented mynew tattoo aswell. And the pretty lady sitting atthe table next tome and myfriend gave meher phone number before weleft. Tosay our experience was phenomenal isan understatement.… – show

BWG iswonderfully located atthe pier ofSanduskyBay. Ithas anice seafood menu with variety. Afavorite isthe seafood lasagna. Seating islimited, sothe early bird will get the worm. Otherwise, the wait can beat least anhour.
BWG isgreat for afirst date orto meetup for anoccasion with special friends orfamily. The final bill cost for two for food and adult beverage iseasily $$$. But you will enjoy the food and water front experience.00

I'm not one toleave negative reviews, but dang.
The Good: Beautiful view onthe lake, friendly attentive wait staff.Thebad: $46before tip for asmall filet ofaverage tasting walleye and minute rice? Iwas also charged $2for aliteral 1/2tsp ofcheese onmy salad? Iwill sadly goelsewhere.

The steaks were worth every penny. Weall got something different and each one was mouth watering. Our waitress was excellent with both service and personality. Our party offour would definitely goback the next time weare visiting here.

New slogan idea— weopen when wewant! Despite asign out front showing their hours wewere told that they were going toopen 15minutes late. Iam agenerally patient person but less sowhen Ihave mynot sopatient kids with me— plus, Iwould have let them stay atthe playground longer had Iknown that this restaurant opens when they want.

Excellent experience atBootleggers, right onthe water, waitstaff were very friendly and gave good recommendations onfood totry. Wesplit the Cioppino which had Tilapia, clams, mussels, shrimp and 4oz Lobster tail intomato wine sauce, delicious!

Sitting having dinner listening toa noise which sounds like they are power washing something. Can't doit after customer leave. Came toenjoy sounds water seagulls but Iguess not tonight.
