10 Craft Ideas To Do With Kobe Bryant Coloring Pages

Kobe Bryant is the favorite player of many young basketball fans.

If you’re short on space for all those finished coloring pages, try these inexpensive, engaging crafts.

1. A One-of-a-Kind Basketball Backboard

If your youngster’s a Kobe Bryant fan, he or she probably plays the game at home. If so, then make that basketball backboard pop!

Let the child cut various characters from the finished pages. The more variety, the better!

Use craft glue or krazy glue to attach the cutouts to the backboard in any pattern the child desires.

Seal the artwork in several coats of acrylic spray for the fanciest backboard in town.

2.Unique Classroom Banners

Start this fun craft by having each youngster draw and cut out a basketball using ordinary orange construction paper and black magic markers.

A hole punch should be used to make a hole on either side of the basketball.

Then, when the children have colored their Kobe Bryant pages, the characters should be carefully cut out and glued to the center of the basketballs.

Use orange and black yarn to string the basketballs together to create a one-of-a-kind banner to display anywhere in the classroom.

3. A Terrific Homemade Toy

This toy is surprisingly easy to make and is always a big hit with any age child.

Start by laminating an ordinary styrofoam cup with cutouts from the finished pages.

Carefully push a straw through the bottom of the cup, securing it with a bit of tape or craft putty.

Then, attach an orange craft pom-pom to the end of a piece of string and staple the opposite end of the string to the bottom of the straw.

Hold the straw like a handle, toss the orange ball in the air, and try to make a “basket” by landing it in the cup.

4. Design a Cool Kobe Bryant Crown

This fun craft is great for young children and begins with a simple piece of white poster board cut into a thick strip and stapled in a circle.

Next, have the child glue a piece of orange construction paper to thin cardboard. Then, draw a basketball with a black magic marker and cut it out.

The basketball should be affixed to the front of the cardboard circle with krazy glue.

Then, when Kobe Bryant is colored and cut out, attach the cutout to the basketball’s center for a fantastic crown the child will love to wear!

5. Make Fun and Entertaining Flash Cards

If those Kobe Bryant pages have piled up, try making these great basketball flashcards.

Blank or lined flashcards both work for this craft, but the larger, the better.

On one side, have the youngster write a Kobe Bryant trivia question and then add the answer to the other side.

The area surrounding the text can be decorated with various-size cutouts from the finished pages, and youngsters can have fun quizzing each other about their favorite player.

6. I Love Basketball Poster

All children love making posters, and this one is particularly fun because of Kobe’s name.

Have the youngster cut images from various finished coloring pages and use them to create a fun collage on a piece of poster board with an open area in the center.

Using a thick magic marker, the child can write “I Love Kobe Bryant” in the poster’s center and use crayons or magic markers to turn the “Os” into basketballs!

7. Create a Kobe Bryant Designer Basketball

If your youngster has played the pattern clean off an old basketball, it can be transformed into a brand-new toy.

Once several Kobe Bryant characters are colored and cut out, they should be attached to the surface of the basketball with rubber cement, craft glue, or even fabric glue.

Seal the new pattern with three to four coats of acrylic spray, and the “new” basketball is ready to go!

8. Design a Colorful Doorway Ornament

To make this unusual ornament, have each child color and cut out four to five basketballs and Kobe Bryant characters in various poses.

The Kobe cutouts should be glued to the center of the basketballs.

Then, the youngsters should braid several pieces of orange and black yarn together, allowing them to be unfrayed at the bottom.

The cutouts can then be stapled to the yarn at regular intervals, vertically, so the entire craft hangs like a chime. Place this colorful ornament in a window or doorway.

9. Kobe in Silhouette

This unique craft begins with each youngster coloring and cutting out a Kobe Bryant character and then tracing the cutout onto black construction paper.

This creates a silhouette of the original cutout. Then, the child should color and cut out a giant basketball and add the cutouts to either side.

When hung up, it can be spun back and forth to show the full-color cutout and the same character in silhouette for unique decoration.

10. Make an Old-fashioned Score Card

If you have youngsters who enjoy playing basketball, let them make their own original scorecard.

Begin by giving the youngster a small dry-erase board that can be found at any discount store.

The left side should be decorated with a Kobe Bryant cutout from the finished coloring page.

Decorate the border with smaller items cut from the same page or from additional pages. Youngsters can use the whiteboard to keep track of the scores in their games!
